Rozani an old friend from UPM has now become the new GM for Weber Shandwick Malaysia.
She took me out for lunch at PJ Hilton recently and we talk about many things especially her family, her career and also about our UPM college days. She looks great!
Congratulation for the new post, Rozani.
The Edge reported. "Public relations agency Weber Shandwick Malaysia has appointed Rozani Jainudeen as its general manager effective April 6.
As Sime Darby Group’s vice-president of communications previously, Rozani was involved in the Synergy Drive merger.
She brings with her more than 15 years of experience in journalism, media and public relations where she managed regional accounts for multinational clients such as Ford Motor Company, Nestle, Intel and Japan Airlines.
“Rozani’s experience and insights, developed over years of agency and in-house experience, are a powerful addition to the company. She brings with her a broad range of skills that will enhance the value of the services offered to our range of specialised clients,” said Weber Shandwick Southeast Asia managing director Baxter Jolly in a statement issued by the agency on April 16.
While the economic climate remains a challenge, Rozani believes it also presents opportunities. “The current financial dislocation across markets has provoked organisations to search for new and more sophisticated means to generate advocacy creation and the public relations sector is at the heart of it,” she said.
Weber Shandwick's local clients include Microsoft, Emirates Airline and Mastercard."
