Ken shared my Bed

My cat Ken has been sharing my bed for a few days now since he got into a fight with Low. Ken is
trying to avoid Low and not in "Meowing" terms with Low. I am not sure what it is all about but I think it is about Territorial domination.

Ken is different. He seems to understand us more than other cats. He will look into your eyes if he has something to say.

I got pictures of him while he is asleep.

Got 2 Books from the U Buy U Sell Store

I found 2 nice books from the U Buy U Sell store. Here it is.

Found an Indian Restaurant named "Chutney"

As I was walking by MBPJ there is an Indian Restaurant named "The Chutneys" and it is a fairly new kid on the block and the first upmarket Indian restaurant in Petaling Jaya.

Named after a piquant relish, the decor is definitely nicer than the mainstream, with a fine fresco on its wall. The Chutneys spans four floors, but the dining area in on ground level and part of the first floor which it shares with a lounge and bar.

The Chutney located at the central business district of P.J consisting, fully air-conditioned four floor with an ethnic Indian ambience.

Ground floor has seventy seater dining area for family. First floor houses a well furnished bar with sophisticated audio & lighting system, the complete area has the wooden flooring which can be converted to a dance floor with the Indian fusion music & the tracks from the latest bolywood films.
Second floor is a Boutique which stores original art & artifacts , designer dresses all from the fashion designers & artists of repute.

This area can be converted into private dining area on request for various ocassions.

Could give it a try one of these weekends.

Restaurant Sri Karak

I went for lunch at Sri Karak Restaurant at Section 52 PJ. I had Fried Cantonese Sea Food Yee Mee and "Teh Tarik" and I also had a durian pancake. It is served cold and taste sweet. Just nice to end my lunch with a durian flavoured dessert.

The Unfortunate events and Perils of KTM Komuter Serdang

I always have a theory about KTM Komuter Serdang station. First is about the Touch n Go reader seems to be regularly in "not functioning" mode. They even have a permanent label to place at the reader when the reader is down. My theory is that it is shut down on purpose as to get more revenue rather than get a concession from Touch n Go. Secondly, the 2nd exit is still not open for the project already completed 4 years ago. I even called the KTMB PR and he says that a study will be conducted. Fahmi commented that the study should be done earlier before the project ever took-off at the first place. Anyway, lets look and see before we take the next step. I even notice some staff at Serdang station even eating and munching while on duty. Any action from the Serdang Station Master?

Nasi Kandar Maju Curry at PJ State

Last night, Sharmini, Viknesh and I went to Nasi Kandar Maju Curry at PJ State. The set-up is fine, and the menu is not bad. The price is reasonable. I had Puri with "teh tarik" and Sharmini and Viknesh both had "Roti Canai Banjir". We should have stayed there longer and chit-chat about Vietnam and so on but I have an appointment. So we had to end the dinner earlier than expected.
I dont mind coming again to this place

As I was browsing at Cash-Converter, I found this card holder and pen opener that cost only RM3 and RM6 respectively.
It looks cute and I put it at my office.

Found the Book : Fowler's Modern English Usage

I found the book Imogen. I remember putting it in on the book shelves at my house. Imogen brought that book from Portsmouth UK and geve it as a present in August 2004. I use it for improving my English especially in writing.

Thank Imogen.

Viknesh and Sharmini just came back from thier second honeymoon to Vietnam. And they had a fabulous time there and there seems to be a Muslim community there so no problem when I adnFahmi goes there later.

City Pets Veterinary Clinic in Serdang Raya

This vet is my usual clinic to send my babies because it is the nearest and the services are good.
Last weekend, Fahmie, Madi and I went to the vet to send Ashley for the mites jabs and also the 3 babies. They gave us a nice Red Cats and Dogs 2007 Diaries that have hundreds of cats pictures.
That reminds me. I haven't seen Dr Goh for some time. Dr Goh Lai Har is really friendly to cats. I think she is a pure animal lover.

Roti Kukus at Gerai 73 PJ State

On Saturday Morning, I had roti kukus for breakfast somewhere in PJ State and this stall is called "Gerai 73". This is how it looks like. It is served warm and taste deliciuos with "teh tarik". I usuallt have it on Saturday morning for breakfast. Try to avoid nasi lemak and go into more healthy breakfast.

New books for reading pleasure

Last Friday, I went to "U Buy U Sell" store located in front of MBPJ building at PJ State. I have bought two books titled "Lie in the Dark" by Dan Fesperman and another one is "True Crime Man and Wife" by Andrew Klavan. It cost only about RM8 and RM6 respectively. With the exorbitant in book prices these days, I resort only to second hand book store such as this one.

Delicious Murtabak Singapore in Bangi

Hi, again on Saturday night, Fahme and I went to Murtabak Singapore in Bandat Baru Bangi. Fahmi treat me a nice and delicious 2 layers Murtabak, with "Telur Pindang" and 2 glasses of "teh tarik".
I took a picture of the stall this time.

Beef and Mutton Stew at Al Wira Restaurant

We went to Restaurant Al Wira at Serdang Perdana last week more out of curiosity rather than eagerness to try any dishes there. It has been quite some time since we last visited that place which were formerly known "Restoran Maju" before it was taken over several times until the present owner. We ordered "teh tarik" which is quite good compared to some restaurant we've been to. Then quite interesting dish they have there is Beef and Mutton stew. Just when we were about to make an order the MPSJ official made a raid to the restaurant and many tables and chairs were confisticated and put into thier big MPSJ Blue lorry.
I guess that is a 'sign' for us not to go there ever again.

Visited Orangutan Charles Cham 's Outlet

When Fahme and I went to Melaka, as we are browsing around Jonker's Street, we came to see the famous Charles Cham outlet named Orangutan. Fahme got himself a black T-shirt while I got a grey one.

ABOUT CHARLES CHAM

Charles CHAM started painting at the age of five inspired by the first movie he ever saw. It was a story about an artist with a magic brush and everything he painted became alive. He painted birds and they flew away. He painted fish and they swam away in the river. Finally he painted a woman, she became alive and they fell in love. When Charles came home that day after the movie, he started to draw a portrait of the painter on the floor with some cake powder belonging to his mother. That was his first portrait.

After working as an editorial artist for a few years in Kuala Lumpur, he went to France to paint. He became a member of the Association des Artistes Indépendants in Aix-en-Provence and exhibited in the Salon des Indépendants in 1990 and 1991. In 1993, he set up his studio in the old quarter of his hometown in Malacca, Malaysia, and named it The Orangutan House. In 1995, he mounted his solo exhibition “Yin Et Yang Et Cetera” at the Creative Centre, National Art Gallery in Kuala Lumpur. This quickly followed by other exhibitions in the region and internationally. Since then he has exhibited in Singapore, Hong Kong, Bali, Australia, France, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Portugal and Malaysia.

Charles CHAM’s works are based on the philosophy of Yin and Yang – the duality of life and the attraction of opposites. He believes that everything has another side, visible or not. “The Yin and Yang paintings are actually multiple paintings. They are in fact two paintings on one canvas, with each other facing in the opposite direction.” “I believe that drawing is thinking and painting is feeling. Therefore, I draw what I think and paint what I feel. As there is no feeling without thinking, there is also no painting without drawing. Sometimes I feel more comfortable calling my works painted drawings rather than just paintings.”

Charles CHAM's works are in private art collections in more than 40 countries. More works can be viewed at:

The Movie Jangan Pandang Belakang

On Saturday 7 April 2007 , Fahme, Madi , Wa-e and I went for a movie entitled "Jangan Pandangan Belakang" at TGV Mines Wonderland. Jangan Pandang Belakang (Don’t Look Back) is a Malaysian Horror Movie by Ahmad Idham. The film tells story about a young man named Darma (Pierre Andre) who tries to seek the truth about the death of his fiancé, Rose. Together with Rose’s twin sister, Seri, Darma starts his investigation. The duo’s quest starts at Rose’s house where they discover a peculiar bottle, leading Darma and Seri to another riddle. The discovery of weird images in a digital camera left by Rose, adds to the duo’s suspicion concerning her death. But after the discovery, Darma experience strange things. Noticed that something wrong happened to Darma, his boss Da’im (Jalaluddin) gives Darma a week leave. Then Darma visit Mak Lang (Khatijah) who lives with her daughter, Lin (Rio) and her senile mother, Opah (Rusminah Sidek) to cure him and to solve the mystery of Rose’s death.
We enjoyed it and still felt the chill even when we came home that night. Fahme also decided to put up a night at my place. Maybe too scared to "pandang belakang"!

Roti Tissue Restaurant Nordin Serdang Perdana

Last night, Madi, Wa-e and I went for supper at Nordin's. It is a restaurant located at the ground floor of Serdang Perdana Apartment Block A. We tried 'Roti Canai Tissue' which we rated to be not-to-bad but could improve further though. More sugar should be sprinkled around the mountain-like roti canai tissue. It is nice to have it with hot tea or "teh-tarik".

You should try it.

Thank you Viknesh and Sharmini on my Birthday

Last night I blew the candle to mark my birthday and the birthday cake was a surprised gift from Viknesh and Sharmini a long time close family friends.

We enjoyed each other company especially in shopping, food and recipes. To both Viknesh and Sharmini, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and wish our frienship will last forever.
