We started our journey by taking the 8pm bus from the ever crowded Puduraya. Since it was the eve of a public holiday, over-crowded Puduraya is a must. We arrive late at Melaka Sentral because of the mass traffic and crawling vehicles along the KL Seremban Highway and at certain areas such as Sungai Besi Tol Plaza ,Nilai and Senawang. I was practically asleep along the way because had a busy day in the office.
When we finally arrived at Melaka Sentral it was already past midnight. We took supper at Melaka Sentral and later took a cab to Puri Hotel.
We went right to sleep. Had a full breakfast at Puri Cafe. I started with coffee and orange juice, wedges, fried hot-dogs and beans. Later I tried the 'pau kaya' and bread with butter and strawberry jam.
Later that day, we check out and check in into Baba House Hotel which is just across the road. They allow us to check in as early as 11am. Then we took a trishaw to Pahlawan Mall which is just across the Mahkota Parade.
We managed to go to Hang Tuah Mall, we tried Gloria Jeans Cafe, a restaurant called Restoran Sederhana Ria and not forgetting Jonkers Street. We also tried the all favourite 'classic chendol' which later I now regret I only had 1 cup.
