GETTING TO MUARIf you're driving from Kuala Lumpur on the North South Expressway (NSE), take the Tangkak exit (Interchange 235) and drive on past Sg. Mati and Parit Bunga (on highway 23 and 5). Muar town is about 27km from the Tangkak exit.
The first thing we did when we arrived in Muar was going to the Mee Bandung Stall and ordered 3 Mee Bandung Muar. It was really delicious especially with the self made bawang goreng. We also had Otak-otak Muar which was served hot. We also passed by the famous Murtabak Singapore stall but later found out that it was open only in the mid afternoon and not in the morning. We went there for breakfast the following morning and found it closed. But it's ok coz we also have lots and lots of Murtabak Singapore in Bangi.
