The boys and I have a long tradition to break our fast at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman at least once every year. But this time it is more special because we could share it with Imogen. Fahme could not join us this time because he has to supervise his office moving to KL Sentral.
Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, Kuala Lumpur is one of the popular shopping areas of Kuala Lumpur. This shopping area is famous for its dazzling and glittering shops. Locals as well as tourists come to this area for shopping.
This shopping area of Kuala Lumpur has many pre-war buildings whose rustic facades are conserved to accommodate many contemporary retailing businesses. In this shopping area you can truly enjoy the shopping and the cultural experience that was prevalent many decades ago.
The shops of the Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, Kuala Lumpur offers items like fabrics and textiles, imported leather goods, bags and luggage, carpets, and winter clothing.
In every Saturday from 5.00 pm to 10.00 pm, this area is transformed into a night market where the businessmen sell variety of goods in the outdoors. In this market you can purchase some casual attire or some local items from this market. Moreover you can purchase those goods at reasonable price. During the fasting month, there are many stalls selling Hari Raya preparatin goods including kuih, clothes and batik. We browse swiftly after breaking our fast.
Imogen had a great time and she is willing to try with different kind of food as long as it is not hot.
